About Brighton Transportation

(Brighton, England)

Brighton is relatively compact meaning much can be done on foot. Strolling along the seafront or through the maze of The Lanes is a pleasant way to explore the city.

There are also plenty of buses and reasonably priced taxis if you find yourself defeated by the hills of this seaside city or want to travel beyond the centre and its immediate perimeters.

Brighton is easily accessible by rail with frequent trains to London's Victoria Station taking less than an hour. London's Gatwick International Airport is about 35 minutes away by train and it's also possible to get to many other UK cities by train. There are decent local rail links to surrounding towns and villages. London is about 90 minutes by car and there are several major car hire companies represented in Brighton.
